I think I am going to stick with my ireland idea. I am trying to get a sence of how I will organize it. I am thinking the best way might be to do it by town. Then have sections on each town page like "Things to see" "Places to eat" "Local History". I think if I try to do one page on "Things to see" and just specify what town you can see it in that might be confusing. Then maybe if their is a really big attraction I can just make that a link off the larger page for the whole town.
I think this makes sense, at least from a practical standpoint. Someone planning to visit Dublin might not care to read your descriptions of things to do in County Cork, for example. On the other hand, the beauty of the web is that you don't have to index your information in only one way. You could have a page listing your "Places to eat", with links to the restaurant reviews on each city page. Just a thought...
I love the Ireland idea. I was there thirteen years ago and hope to go back. Maybe you could focus your site on a particular region of Ireland rather than the whole country?
I have friends who are actually in Ireland right now. I am very jealous of them! I think that a travelsite is a great idea, and when I travel I am always looking for personal webpages in order to find the "off the beaten path" in tourist attractions!

That sounds like a good way to organize the site. You could do pages by towns or counties (if you want broader groupings).
How about the color scheme? Is green to obvious?
