Fun or Function
I was looking around some other bloggs and saw that linda library is thinking about doing her final project on teen book review/resources. I though that was a really good idea. I thought about doing something similar but for young children. However, I thought that would be a lot harder since I would mostly do using other peoples work since I myself have never compiled a list of suggested children books or anything like that. I guess I just thought it would be easier if I just did a travel site because then I could use a lot of my own stuff, then almost everything would be my own original content.

Using original content and personal photos were the deciding factor for my topic as well - so much easier than having to sort through copyright permissions. Even though my topic seems rather inane, I am still thinking of putting it in my portfolio to show that I have at least some basic abilities in website creation.
Ireland is such a beautiful country with a rich history- I would love to see and hear about your experiences. I always like hearing about the "off the beaten path" spots that people visit or discover during their travels or sites that were surprisingly worthwhile. --Beth
